Genoa Decree: late-night call between Prime Minister Conte and President Toti A long telephone call has taken place between the President of the Liguria Region, Giovanni Toti, and Italy’s Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, to clarify the situation regarding the Genoa Decree. The premier outlined the main points in the measure to the governor, with Conte aiming to take it to the Council of Ministers this afternoon. Toti made several observations which Prime Minister Conte noted. Links between Piazza De Ferrari (the Liguria Region) and Palazzo Chigi will continue right up until the last minute, to finetune the details of a measure which no-one has any intention of delaying, for the good of the city.
