Cancellation of the limitation on the transit of vehicles weighing more than 7.5t on LungomareCanepa

After an initial adjustment period, the Dept. of Mobility and Transport in the Municipality of Genoa has verified that the traffic conditions allow the amendment of the ORM 2018/759 ordinance from 30/08/2018 with immediate effect until it ceases to be required which establishes the following requirements:
- Restoration of two-way traffic in Via Fiamme Gialle as access for the western direction to Lungomare Canepa
- Cancellation of the limitation on the transit of vehicles weighing more than 7.5 t on the stretches concerned
1)VIA FIAMME GIALLE
a)restoration of two-way traffic;
b)maximum speed limit of 30 km/h;
c)no stopping, with the additional sanction of the forced removal of offenders’ vehicles in the parking areas located along the roadway, on both sides;
d)obligation to yield precedence and turn right for vehicles moving in the uphill direction that reach the junction with Via di Francia.
2)VIA PIETRO CHIESA (stretch between Via San Pier d’Arena and Via Fiamme Gialle)
a)obligation to STOP and give way at the junction with Via Fiamme Gialle;
b)maximum speed limit of 30 km/h.
3)VIA DI FRANCIA (stretch between Via San Pier d’Arena and Via Fiamme Gialle)
a)obligation to give way at the junction with Via Fiamme Gialle;
b)maximum speed limit of 30 km/h.
4)VIA CORNIGLIANO
a)maximum speed limit of 30 km/h;
b)suspension of the lanes reserved for the transit of local public transport vehicles;
c) in parking areas along the street, on the sea side, parking is permitted for cars, motorcycles and scooters. In the hours between 8:00 am and 8 pm (excluding holidays), vehicle parking is limited to a maximum duration of 1 hour, with the obligation to display a parking disc. In the remaining hours and during holidays, parking is permitted without time restrictions.
